Accelerating Innovation in Retail

The innovation I am most excited about is gamifying workflow management. We need to make retail jobs profoundly simple, fun, and potentially competitive – imagine that – so associates can get their jobs completed and spend MORE time with customers. The most effective way to bring retailers closer to customers is the associate. Imagine a single app, powered by AI, which guides the right associate to the right task at the right time. They work in teams to unlock rewards with incentives for customer delight.

No amount of digital experience, such as shoppable video or AR, can match the ROI of an associate taking a moment in a shopping experience to recommend a solution, guide the customer and leave them delighted. Because the delight will payback the effort with loyalty, word of mouth, and genuine membership over time.
